Cold formed parts, turned components and screw plugs
We are highly proficient in the use of modern technologies and manufacturing processes, some of which we also combine to achieve optimum results for each application. We can produce not only extremely small quantities, but also extremely large quantities, within a range of 5 to 60 mm, depending on the number of pieces and the manufacturing process. We also use a wide range of materials.
We supply a variety of cold formed parts, turned components and screw plugs to the mechanical and plant engineering sector, which are used in a wide variety of areas. For example, we are able to produce M 60 screw plugs as hot-pressed parts with machined reworking. These are used in marine engines or in the gearboxes of wind turbines.
Our modern cold forming technology BSH cold forming ® is used to produce numerous variants of cold formed parts which depending on the application, can then be further processed on our modern CNC and cam-controlled lathes before undergoing further finishing and coating. By mounting our BSH sealing-M® metal sealing rings or BSH sealing-E® elastomeric sealing rings on screw plugs, we can offer our mechanical and plant engineering customers prefabricated assemblies that allow the use of automated assembly.
Forming software shortens development processes
Our customers in the mechanical and plant engineering segment benefit from our expertise and from the fact that we are both a developer and manufacturer. Even before the development process starts, we attach great importance to providing customers with extensive support. A forming simulation allows us to demonstrate the stresses exerted on the component and on the tool during production and to make statements about production options. The potential savings here are considerable because expensive pressing tests are no longer necessary. We offer support to automotive customers in all phases, from application development through production planning, prototype production and series production. Getting to grips with complicated technical specifications is our day-to-day business. We know how important it is to meet deadlines and quantities reliably, especially in the mechanical and plant engineering industry, and all our processes are geared towards this. Our certification according to OHSAS 18001 supports smooth production processes and ensures compliance with all safety regulations.
Over time, the lack of residual particles has become a real quality feature, especially in the mechanical and plant engineering industry. We pursue a purity strategy that includes upstream processes and production processes to ensure that our components meet the highest standards. The laboratory monitors the residual dirt on the surface of the component at the end of the process chain.
