Heat treatment BSH solid
We optimise our components for different applications
We use various heat treatment methods to change the strength of our components or their magnetic properties. Depending on the material and purpose, there are various options to choose from:
- Tempering
- Application hardening
- Nitriding
- Nitrocarburising
- Inductive hardening
- Annealing to create soft material conditions
- Remanence annealing to change magnetic properties
- Other thermochemical processes
Conventional heat treatment processes are used that improve the strength, for example tempering, case-hardening and nitriding. The annealing process also produces specific soft material states; these are important, for instance, when producing blanks that our customers want to form themselves or in applications in which forming takes place, e.g. riveting or flanging. Soft material states are also required when low-loss magnetisation is specified in electromagnetic systems.
To provide the above-mentioned heat treatment services, we work with selected and experienced partner companies that meet our high quality standards.
