Two-week commercial work placement at BSH for school students

A report by Laura Römer, commercial school trainee, Class 9a, Augustiner Realschule Plus school, Hillesheim. I wrote two daily reports about my BSH commercial work placement.

On Tuesday, 11 June 2019, I worked with Ms Ubl and another intern on processing an order. We searched for and wrote down the prices for magnets and magnetic frames.

Then we called the responsible company to ask for a quote. After this, I translated two CVs of two American exchange students from English into German. Once I was finished, Anna and I worked with an apprentice on a presentation for the two exchange students.

After lunch, we returned a project report to an apprentice, we issued an ID to an employee and looked for a wall chart in the conference room to compare two wall charts.

Finally, Anna and I brainstormed ideas for the Young Talents Training Day 2019 with Ms UbI.

On Wednesday, June 12 2019, Anna and I wrote down the ideas for the Young Talents Day 2019 Training Day that we had collected the day before. It was about creating a flyer, a login, and an ad.

Anna and I prepared lunch for the other employees for the lunch break.

After that, I went to the sales department and another apprentice told me how to check and process an order.

After lunch, the apprentice Timo delivered his presentation in preparation for an exam.

I then drew up a questionnaire about the use of hearing protection that those people wearing it have to complete.
