The best of the best in the region
In addition to him, Manuel Gube (process mechanic) and Florian Müller (dual student and formerly training as a cutting machine operator) were also invited to the training ceremony as the best in their field in the region.
The management and the works council, as well as the staff, congratulate this year's apprenticeship graduates on their excellent examination results.
On 26.10.2021, the annual Best Celebration of the IHK Trier took place. As part of the event, the best former trainees of the 2020/2021 training year were honoured for their great achievements at the Trier Theatre.
Due to the Corona arrangements, the event was broadcast via livestream to the entire chamber district for the first time.
Accompanied by the acting ensemble of the Trier Theatre, the Lord Mayor of the City of Trier, Mr Wolfram Leibe, IHK Trier President Peter Adrian and IHK Chief Executive Officer Dr Jan Glockhauer presented the more than 170 graduates with their certificates. In addition, a shopping voucher and a travel guide were presented as small gifts.
Beforehand, in connection with the thanks to those jointly responsible for training, the vocational schools in the chamber district and, of course, the companies, all three guests of honour had first expressed their appreciation for the achievements and emphasised the great importance of young people and dual training for the economy, but also for the Trier region.
This year, Bilstein & Siekermann had the honour of sending 3 former apprentices to the Best Celebration. Together with HR Manager Ms Ubl, Manuel Gube, Florian Müller and Benjamin Anschütz travelled to Trier for this special celebration.
Manuel Gube completed his training as a process mechanic in January 2021 with great success and is now employed further in the press department.
Florian Müller is writing his bachelor's thesis on the topic of "Error minimisation in the area of presses". He also achieved an exceptional result in the final examination to become a cutting machine operator.
Benjamin Anschütz scored 99 points in his final examination for industrial clerk and thus passed the best final examination for industrial clerk in the 65-year history of the company.
We are particularly pleased that this result places him among the best three graduates in the Trier chamber district in 2020/2021 and that he was therefore once again given a special award by those responsible at the Trier Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
Of course, we would also like to take this opportunity to thank the responsible trainers and training officers in the sales, purchasing, work preparation, quality assurance and dispatch departments in the commercial area and the trainers and training officers in the press and vending machine departments and the Bilstein & Siekermann toolmaking department, who have personally and professionally supported the young employees during their training and without whom such a result would not have been achieved.
Benjamin Anschütz as well as Manuel Gube have mastered their respective degrees with flying colours and continue to be employed by the company.
All in all, a successful evening for all those involved from Bilstein and Siekermann, but also for all the other graduates.
