Cooperation agreement with Bilstein & Siekermann GmbH & Co. KG

^® demonstrates its commitment and responsibility to the region with this cooperation which promises to be beneficial in recruiting young technical and commercial talent for the metal company.

The collaboration between SG/JSG and BSH is intended to help the young people of JSG Vulkanland with their career choices and ultimately to simplify the transition from school to work.

It is important for young people to meet local businesses and experience the economy in real life. The SG/JSG sees many opportunities and possibilities for youth football players in this cooperation: “We need to start working as early as possible to keep our young people in the region and in our association and to provide them with career prospects in a safe social environment. After school, by mean of local training programmes, or after graduation they need perspectives in innovative and forward-thinking companies to work in the Eifel region,” said Stefan Mertes of SG/JSG.

Like Stefan Mertes, Ms Britta Ubl, head of recruitment and development at Bilstein & Siekermann^®, is delighted with the new collaboration. “Every year, we offer motivated teenagers the opportunity to embark on commercial or technical apprenticeships or dual engineering degrees with us, or to start their career in Hillesheim. In addition to solid academic performance, we are looking for people with a high level of motivation and commitment. I am sure one or more new young people will be found in the field of SG/JSG.”

For example, BSH offers our A, B and C teenagers company visits, traineeships and vacation jobs to get to know the company. The co-operation contract represents a win-win situation for all sides, for SG/JSG and its young players and also for the company Bilstein & Siekermann^®.
